6 weeks left! I am trying not to be so impatient, but it's getting hard! I cannot wait to meet our little girl. I am making sure to enjoy these last six weeks that we have with just the two of us. As for the pregnancy, my feet have started to swell periodically, but other than that, I still feel pretty good. I am more tired lately, but that's probably because I just don't sleep that well anymore. Guess God is trying to prepare me for what's to come! I still crave sugar like it's going out of style, but still haven't had any weird cravings. So six weeks to go (or sooner!) until we get to meet Rylie!
My co-workers gave me a baby shower this past weekend. I was extremely blessed by the people that I work with! The food was great...everything was pink and so fun. We were given our stroller and carseats as gifts (which was a huge load off of our minds), as well as a year long zoo membership (I love the zoo!), and the cutest cowgirl Build-a-Bear that will totally match Rylie's room (thanks, Taterbug!).
My best friend Kristi gave my a baby shower at her house this past weekend...and she is amazing! I felt like Martha Stewart had given me the shower! The food was probably some of the best I've ever had and everything was so creative and fun. Our drinks were given in mason jars, there were wildflowers on the tables, and ice cream sandwich bar for dessert and did I mention the food was so good? :) Thanks, Kristi for making me feel so loved and special for the afternoon!
My wonderful hostesses (thanks Jesse for putting up with all of us invading your house)
Rylie's future boyfriend...Kristi is due in August!
Brandon's family and friends threw me a baby shower in California when we were out there for spring break. It was adorable! A complete morning tea filled with an Alice in Wonderland theme, great food, and fun people. We were very blessed with all of the gifts to help us prepare for the arrival of Rylie. One of the neatest gifts that we recieved was my mom and Brandon's mom both made a shadow box of baby items from when we were little. I can't wait to hang them in our baby's room.
So for Christmas this year, all of the grandkids decided to take my grandparents to Disneyland! They had taken us when we were little, so now it was time to return the favor. While not all of us could go on the trip, those that could had a blast! It was the first time my Grandparents had been to California Adventure (they loved Soarin over California) and my Grandpa did every ride that we did (rollar coasters and all)! This was also baby's 6th time at Disneyland and Tatum was with us (and Disneyland is always fun with a 3 year old). What fun memories were made on this trip!
Well, I've hit the 30 week mark...only 10 more to go! This pregnancy is going by very quickly. I haven't had any really weird food cravings (much to Brandon's disappointment) but I really crave sugar and I actually like potatoes (for those of you who know me, I haven't liked potatoes ever)!
Brandon and I got married in January of 2007...and added Wrigley to our family in February of 2008. We added Rylie in May of 2010 and Grayson in May of 2013 rounded out the family! It's been a whirlwind! We love to relax and travel together. We hope you enjoy this look into our lives.
