Rylie's Fun Fall Day with Papa and Grandma

My parents decided to head up to see some Fall leaves and asked if they could take Rylie with them. She was so excited for a whole day with just her, Papa, and Grandma! They went up to Sedona and found some amazing leaves, and then went to a fun farm and pumpkin patch (I think it was in Dewey). She had a blast!

How amazing is this place!?

Stopping for their picnic lunch.

Pumpkin Patch Train

Mimi was coming into town, so we decided to do something "Fall-ish" and drive a few hours north to go on a pumpkin patch train. The Grand Canyon Railroad (the same one the does the Polar Express every year) offers this cute way to go to a pumpkin patch. You board the train and head out for about 10-15 minutes where they stop at a pumpkin patch. They give you about 30 minutes in the patch to pick out your pumpkin and then you hop back on board where it takes you back to the station. At the station they have some decorating tables set up so you can decorate your pumpkin. Rylie thought it was pretty fun!

Our cars guide for the day...she was really good!

I love this picture! He wanted her sucker so bad! All I could think was, "This is our future"! :)

I love our family.

Rylie loved her caramel apple sucker that Brandon got her!

Decorating her pumpkin with Daddy.

So the original idea to go up north was to find some fall leaves (I found the pumpkin patch train when I was looking for stuff for us to do up in Flagstaff), so after the train, we headed back into Flagstaff. We ate a very yummy lunch at Oregano's and then headed up towards Snow Bowl to find some leaves...and boy, did we find some pretty ones! I couldn't wait to get some fun pictures of the kids in the leaves...

...but by the time we got there, this is what the back seat looked like! So us adults just jumped out of the car and took some pictures. :)

Grayson's High Chair and Peas

We finally set up Grayson's high chair (actually a cool little chair that just connects to a normal chair...such a great space saver!) and he is so much easier to feed in the chair versus the bumbo. We also started him on peas! He wasn't a huge fan at first, but a couple of days in, he decided they were pretty tasty!

Fun Day at the Farm

Rylie had a week of Fall Break, so one day we headed to Superstition Farm for a fun morning of hayrides, ice cream, feeding the animals, and drinking milk! She loves playing with Boston and Trey, and we finished the morning at Chick-fil-a, so she really enjoyed her day.

This girl loves her ice cream!

Hayride time! As we were in line for the hayride, Grayson fell asleep in his stroller, so Shannon bravely took 4 kids on the hayride by herself. :)

This is how Grayson spent much of the day. :)

I just love her!

Rylie starts "Balleret"

Rylie has been really into dancing around our house lately, so we decided to let her try Ballet, or Balleret as she calls it. :) Honestly, she kind of struggled in the first class. It is much slower than the gymnastics that she is used to and a bit more precise. However, the class always ends with the girls getting to wear princess crowns and dancing around with wands or ribbons, so she was pretty much sold after that! :) She has been doing much better in the class as well. I think her favorite part now is that Mimi came into town and bought her a real ballet outfit complete with a skirt, shoes, and leg warmers. :)
