Aspire's Spring Jam

Every year, the gym that I work at holds a big gymnastics show for all of the kids in classes. This year, Rylie was old enough to participate in the show! She really had no idea what a gymnastics show was when we told her, but she pretty much loves everything at the gym so she was still pretty excited.

Rylie with one of her coaches, Melissa (who was also a former student of Brandon's and one of my former cheerleaders).

Waiting with her group...she looked so little to me!

Ta-Da! :)

Being interviewed on the microphone by Mr. Scott (the owner and my boss). She was a little shy!

On the awards stand with her trophy.

Dbacks vs. Dodgers

We were so excited to head to our first baseball game of the season! We were even more excited that it was the Dbacks vs. the Dodgers (this is a little bit of a rivalry in our house!), but thanks to our agreement when she was born, Rylie wore her Dbacks gear since it was a home game for them (if we are at Dodger stadium, Dodger blue it is for her!). She pretty much spent the whole evening switching off between saying "Go Dbacks!" and "Go Dodgers!". Once again, she shocked us and seemed to really enjoy being there and sat in her seat for a majority of the game. Oh, and boo...the Dodgers won.

Disney on Ice

Disney on Ice came into town and a friend of mine was able to grab some great tickets, so we decided it would be fun to take Rylie. The great part was it was on a Friday morning and Brandon was able to take the day off and come with us! We took the light rail into downtown Phoenix for the show.

Waiting for the show to start.

Playing with her souvenir light up toy.

So Rylie really loved the show, but after every act she would ask us if the princesses were coming and we would say soon! We had the intermission and then the second act started. We noticed she was starting to get a little quiet and not interacting quite as much. She made it through the Aladdin scene (so she did get to see Princess Jasmine!) and next was The Little Mermaid (her absolute favorite). I looked over as soon as the scene started and I saw this...

...she was sound asleep! We tried to wake her up, but she was out! After the Little Mermaid, they did a Tangled (her second favorite) scene and then all of the princesses came out for a huge finale...and she slept through it all! :)

All of the excitement from the morning just completely wore her out! She was so out in fact, that she slept for most of the train ride back to our car. :)

Play Ball Baby Shower!

We headed out to California this past weekend for the most adorable baby shower given to us by my wonderful mother-in-law, Helen, and my brother-in-law's girlfriend, Sarah. It was a vintage baseball theme and the details were amazing! (Hence the reason there are so many photos in this post...I couldn't decide which ones to leave out, so I just put a ton in here!)

The adorable invite!

The cute gift table.

Rylie's seat at the shower. :)

Loved this diaper cake!

The "guest book". :)

My amazingly artistic husband drew this when he was a kid! They also used a bunch of his old baseball cards and books as decor throughout the party.

Our table-myself, Rylie, Sarah, and my cousin Bre.

Angela, Felicia, Taylor Ann, and Anna-Brandon's cousins.

My mom and good friend Jeri Block.

Our little drama queen. :)

Helen, Bertie (Helen's cousin), Kim and Linda-friends of the family.

Rylie dancing with Taylor Ann. :)

Measuring my belly for one of the games.

Rylie got quite a few presents her self! She is very blessed with so many people around her that love her and made her feel so special at "baby Grayson's party" (as she called it).

A beautiful (blue!) blanket made by Bertie...I loved all of the blue! :)

Rylie trying out one of her gifts. :)

My parents got us an adorable camo outfit and little hunting hat!

Rylie was so excited that she was going to get to be a cheerleader and Grayson was going to be the "football"! :)

The cute baseball rattle cookie favors.

This little baseball outfit was worn by Brandon to a baby shower for him!

The amazing hostesses! Thank you both again so much...we were so blessed!

Our growing family. :)
