Are you ready for some football??

I was very excited to take Rylie to her first ASU Football game! I have been going to the games since I was a little girl and I have such fun memories from them. This year, we split our tickets with my brother, so we haven't been to a game yet (which probably is a good thing since the first few games you feel like you are in a furnace! It was nice to take Rylie to a game that you didn't feel like you were melting in the heat!). We took the Light Rail to the stadium and she did great! The fireworks that went off whenever they scored a touchdown (and with a 42-0 victory, there were quite a few) scared her at first, but by the end of the game, she didn't even flinch.

Our happy little Sun Devil fan!

How she spent the entire 2nd quarter :)

2 ASU Alumni and 1 future ASU Alum! :)

Eating her sweet potatos...by the way, if you have little ones and do not have a Boon Spoon, go get one! This is my favorite baby item so far...thanks Shannon for the tip!

After our visit to the pumpkin patch, it was time to carve the pumpkins! Rylie loved this! She was very interested in what Brandon was doing...and being the amazing Daddy that he is, he even carved Rylie's little tiny pumpkin for her :).

She really, really wanted to eat the pumpkin...but I guess what else is new...pretty much everything she touches goes into her mouth!

Our little pumpkin! These little PJs are the first thing that I bought when I found out I was pregnant last year. I walked by them and just wanted to cuddle them, so I figured, boy or girl, they would work! And I actually bought 2 different sizes too...just to make sure they would fit during the Fall :).

Pumpkin Patch

There are quite a few large farms in the Phoenix area that do big fall festivals and pumpkin patches. You can pay to go on hay rides, pick apples, go to petting zoos, rides, etc...all of it sounded so fun to me this year with Rylie. Then I realized that she really would care less what we did this year, so I decided to save the fun stuff for the years to come when she really will remember and decided instead to take her to a little pumpkin patch at a church by my parents house. It was perfect! We got adorable pictures of her sitting with all the pumpkins and scarecrows and it only took about 30 minutes...and then she was over it. :)

Beautiful Fall Leaves

On the way home from Lake Powell, we stopped in Flagstaff for a picnic lunch and to see some of the fall leaves. We hit the weekend perfectly--the leaves were everywhere and amazing! It was freezing, so we got Rylie all bundled up and took her out to get some pictures of her with the colorful leaves.

All bundled up!

One of my favorites!

Brandon's Triathalon

This weekend we headed up to Lake Powell so Brandon could do a sprint triathalon with my Dad and brother, Jeff. We were looking forward to some cooler weather and great scenery. Well, we definitely had cooler weather...it rained the entire triathalon! Brandon did amazing despite the weather--I'm so proud of all of the work that he did to get ready for this! Rylie also did amazing despite the weather. She just hung out in her stroller under an umbrella, all bundled up and cheered on her daddy. She really is such a good little traveller. :) My dad also did great...he finished under his goal time. Jeff, unfortunately, got 2 flat tires on the bike portion, ended up walking 2 miles in his bike shoes and was unable to finish...so I think we will all be back next year (and who knows...maybe I'll join them next year!).

So proud of him!

Beach Babe

One of the other days in California, we headed to a great kids consignment shop (I am so in love with these!) in Newport Beach. After leaving with our treasures (some very cute outfits along with one pair of adorable pink Converse All-Stars and one pair of equally adorable Baby Uggs!!), Brandon was really craving Wahoo's for lunch so we went up to Huntington Beach for some very yummy tacos. After lunch we walked around the main street and pier. It was overcast weather, but we loved every minute of it!

Rylie loved looking at everything on the pier. She even found the surfers in the water below and was very interested in what they were doing.
