Mimi and Grandma continued the fun after the Easter Eggs the next day by taking Rylie and I to get pedicures! It was such a fun girls afternoon. :) Rylie is so cute while she is getting her toes done. This is definitely one of the many reasons why it is so fun to have a daughter.
Rylie was pretty happy this year because she got to dye Easter eggs with both Mimi and Grandma! Nothing could be better in her mind then doing something with both of them. :) She has always loved doing this every year, and this year was no exception. The 2 dozen I had ready to dye were not nearly enough in her mind.
Grayson got in on some of the fun!
But he soon decided he was not a fan of hard boiled eggs. :)
Life has been good lately. We have fallen into a great schedule with work, preschool, swim lessons, AWANA, Bible study, gymnastics, and spending some great evenings in our backyard as a family.
Grayson loves to eat. It doesn't normally even matter what, as long as it's edible!
He prefers to stand whenever possible.
Rylie has to go in her room every afternoon for rest time. I always tell her she doesn't have to go to sleep, she just needs to stay in her room and play by herself. 9 times out of 10...this is what happens. :)
Rylie and I went to a really fun party where we got to make some adorable bead necklaces.
Grayson feels very at home at Target. :)
We had a great morning on April 5th because Grayson finally SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT! Wahoo!
I have been dropping Rylie off at preschool and then Grayson and I go for a run. I love this time that we get and some days, this happens. :)
My aunt and uncle from Minnesota were in town for a couple of weeks to enjoy our amazing weather, so one day the kids and I headed to Tuscon with them and my parents. We went to the Desert Sonoran Museum (which is actually more like a big zoo). I had been there years ago, but it was fun to take Rylie to see all of the animals that live in our desert.
Ice cream break!
Uncle Phil with Grayson
Papa and Rylie stamped animal footprints throughout the zoo all day.
Brandon and I got married in January of 2007...and added Wrigley to our family in February of 2008. We added Rylie in May of 2010 and Grayson in May of 2013 rounded out the family! It's been a whirlwind! We love to relax and travel together. We hope you enjoy this look into our lives.
