"Gingerman" House Wars

Rylie was so excited to build "Gingerman" (as she calls them) houses when we were in Pinetop. We brought 2 house kits with us so that it could be a little friendly competition between her and Daddy. With both Grandma's as the judges, we were pretty sure we knew who would win, but she took it very seriously! :)

I have no idea where she comes up with this stuff! :)

Cabin Fun with Mimi

While I was pretty much stuck on the couch with my foot up, everyone else did some fun stuff while we were at the cabin. There was a little bit of snow left from the previous weekends storm, so Rylie had a blast playing and Grayson pretty much would be happy to never see snow again. :)

Hanging out with the doggies in the morning. :)

Mimi with her grandbabies!

Daddy trying to warm Grayson's hand up after the snow...he wasn't really a fan. :)

Mimi and Rylie went out with Daddy golfing. Rylie can't wait to start golfing!

Thanksgiving 2013

For Thanksgiving this year we headed to Pinetop with Helen and my mom for the long weekend (my dad was out of town on business). We have been wanting to take Helen to the cabin for awhile now so this worked out perfectly. I had foot surgery on Monday of Thanksgiving week, so I was really pretty much down for the count and relied heavily on Brandon and the grandmas to pretty much take care of the kiddos the entire weekend.

This is how the grandmas managed to cook Thanksgiving dinner...Grayson in the kitchen with them eating puffs. :)

Rylie helping make the sweet potatos.

Yes, there was just 4 adults and 1 toddler eating all of this!

A nighttime walk after dinner.

Ashley's Wedding

My cousin Ashley got married this month! It was a great wedding that was held at an old farmhouse in Queen Creek. Mimi flew in from California to babysit, so we were able to have a fun, kid free night!

It was really fun to have Tatum as a bridesmaid with us!

The reception site.

The cute sweetheart table.

Cayden and Kenzie were adorable. The aisle was really long and they had to go through the reception site first so it was taking awhile. As soon as Cayden passed through the brick pillars, he yelled "We're coming!". It was so cute!

I love the back of her dress!

My dad made them a bench to use as their guest book.

My adorable Grandparents dancing during the anniversary dance.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Schlueter!

I love the homemade chandelier that Ashley made above the dessert table.

Annual Santa Visit

My dad is headed out of the country on business, so we decided to do our annual trip to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa and play in their Santa village. It was actually super nice to go this early because there was hardly anyone else there which meant zero line to wait in to see Santa! Rylie loves to play all of the games that they have there and we think the whole thing is so well done. The best part about the whole thing? Everything, even the picture with Santa, is FREE! :)

Duck hunting with Papa.

Nascar racing! This one is for Uncle Jeff. :)

Shooting with Daddy (of course it's a pink gun!).

This is how Grayson spent the first half of the visit.

Santa visit win! Both kids were fine and didn't cry at all!

Remote control truck time!

Just a glimpse into the future...
