Baby Girl has a Name!

Well, we have decided on a name for our baby girl...Rylie Beth Juarez. We completely cleaned out our guest room this weekend and are ready to start decorating the room for her. It is making us really excited...I feel her move constantly now and can't believe how active she is. Brandon and I often talk about who she will look like and what personality traits from each of us she will get. Can't wait to meet you, little Rylie!


At 25 weeks (and still growing!)


Wrigley came up to me one night and laid down next to me. All of the sudden she shifted so that her head was resting directly on my belly! Let's hope she still like's Rylie this much in a few months!

The Perfect Vacation

Well, we found the perfect vacation spot. Carmel, CA is an absolutely beautiful place! Brandon's mom gave him this golf trip as a present for his graduation, and I got to go along for the ride. We arrived at the Inn at Spanish Bay (the resort we were staying at) to find out that they upgraded us to a suite (which ended up being about the size of our entire house)! Brandon got to play Pebble Beach one day and one of their other famous golf courses the next day, while I went to the spa and relaxed. Some other highlights of our trip included listening to the bag piper play each eveing, taking our 2 hour Lexus experience drive through the Carmel area, and eating at some great restaraunts. All in all, really couldn't have been any better!

Baby Girl is Growing (and so is Mommy)!

At our Dr.'s appointment this week, they were able to get a good measurement of Baby Girl's heart and spine and everything looks great! They estimate that she weighs about 1 pound, 1 ounce right now, but boy, has Mommy grown over the past few weeks! Here is the 22 week photos:

Christmas in California

The day after Christmas, we headed to California to celebrate the holidays with Brandon's side of the family. Of course, we spent a day at Disneyland (if you are ever interested in going to Disneyland around the holidays, don't pick anytime the week between Christmas and New Years...the actually closed down the park to any more entries while we were there!), did a ton of shopping (baby girl is starting to get spoiled!), and had a really relaxing New Year's. It was a great vacation before starting back to work.

Christmas 2009

We had a great Christmas this year here in Arizona. We spent alot of time with tons of family and made great memories.


All of the cousins are taking my Grandpa and Grandma to Disneyland this March (they took us when we were little). This is what we gave them to open and boy were they surprised! My Grandma stood up and started dancing around saying "We're going to Disneyland!" It was great!

Christmas morning...which really isn't morning in my family...this was probably at like 10:30 or 11:00am. We've never really been early morning Christmas people!

Crazy Family Christmas!

So I know that I have alot to catch up on from the past few weeks, so I thought I would start with the funniest post. My cousins, Scott & Breanna Chanson, are awesome photographers who do portraits and weddings (shameless plug #1: check out their website at www.radiantphotographyaz.com). They have this great addition to some of their packages - the Radiant Photography Photobooth! So they decided to bring it to our family Christmas festivities this year, and who knew that I have such a crazy, awesome family! Basically the photobooth is a white backdrop with a camera and lighting all set up. Then out comes the box of props and poof! Our crazy family Christmas!
