Valentines Day 2013

We had a pretty low key Valentines Day this year. Brandon was home sick from work, so Rylie and I went and delivered her Valentine to Gigi and then later on in the day, went over and baked cookies with Grandma. Brandon and I got to go out on our Valentines date on Friday. It was really fun, as Rylie is starting to understand holidays and thought that all of the candy and cookies that came with Valentines Day was a pretty good deal! :)

Our night finished with Brandon and I giving our gift to Rylie (playdough, her favorite thing in the world right now, and a new book) and then playing playdough as a family. :)

Wedding Events

My cousin Amy is getting married at the end of March and that means that all of the fun wedding events have started! We had so much fun at her bachelorette party and bridal showers. My mom and I through her one shower and we decided on a luau theme since she is headed to Maui on her honeymoon. Well, the day before the shower, my mom got the stomach flu (that had already been through my house...it was nasty!) and the shower was supposed to be at her house. So after some last minute scrambling, one of Amy's other aunts volunteered to have the shower at her house. Everything ended up great!

Amy's sister Ashley through her an adorable bridal shower for friends and the bridesmaids. Rylie is a flower girl in the wedding, and she got to come to this one. She did very well at the "big girl party". :)

Rylie's 1st Haircut at a Salon

Rylie's hair has been a bit out of control lately. It is just so thin and fine and is not growing very evenly, so it's hard to do anything with it. And it is always in her face, which drives us crazy! We decided to take her to a family friend's salon for a much needed haircut. She was pretty excited about the whole thing and was a champ sitting in the chair. She looked so grown up!

A new cousin is coming!

My cousin, Ashley, is having a baby girl and is due about 9 weeks before I am. My aunt through her an adorable baby shower to celebrate the upcoming birth of baby Kenzie.
