Larson Family Reunion Day 3

The next day, we all packed up and headed to Whitefish Mountain Resort. I had a cousin, Aaron, who passed away when he was 12 years old and his ashes were spread at the top of one of his favorite ski runs at this resort. It's a great spot because you can take a beautiful hike up to the spot, or you can take the lift or gondola up and get to it. The group split up with some hiking and some riding and we all met up at the top at Aaron's spot. :)

The group at the top of the mountain.

The rock with Aaron's initials on it.

Brandon reading a verse that my Grandma had picked out.

Aaron's dad, Alan, talking to all of us about why they picked that spot and some favorite memories of Aaron.

It was a little bit of a hike down to the spot, so this is where Grayson hung out-with Gigi, my mom and aunt up at the lodge.

On the way back down the mountain in the gondola.

When we got to the bottom, Brandon decided we needed to go on the alpine slide. I have never been on one and it was a blast! Rylie thought it was pretty fun too!

After the mountain trip we headed to get Rylie her "purple-berry milkshake" (this is what she called a huckleberry milkshake). We had been telling her about them for a few weeks and she was so excited...

...but apparently not excited enough to stay awake! She fell asleep about 5 minutes before we got there and literally did not wake up until we put her in her carseat to leave. :)

But she still did get to enjoy her "purple-berry milkshake" with Grandma!

This is a field right by my aunt and uncle's house that we thought was amazing. The yellow flowers are actually what they use to make canola oil!
